Supervision

I offer Kaitiaki Supervision with a special interest in the Managerment, Governance, and Leadership of Social Services; these roles within Social Services are specialist skills, with unique pressures and expectations.  I found that it was difficult to find a superviser who understood the roles, and had enough time available to offer regular support; and yet when I did find the right person, what a difference it made to have a confidential space to talk through ideas, circumstances, and possibilities.  I have over 20 years-experience in governance, management, and leadership across Government and Community sectors, as well as post-graduate management qualifications.  The pikopikotanga framework includes a specific section that helps us focus on management supervision...

Piko 1: What do I need as an individual.

Piko 2: What is needed by my role (such as Chair, GM,   kaimahi).

Piko 3: For Chair/ GM/ manager/ coordinator; What does   my organisation/service need.  For Kaimahi; what does   my client need.

Please be in touch to discuss Kaitiaki Supervision if you think this could be for you.  Sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
